heya people I’m doing amazin-I’ve literally lost 7 lbs my 1st wk with http://apps.facebook.com/hcgslim/ Facebook sponsored supplement, Has anyone else tried it? If not, I highly recommend!
Haven’t been able to check in for a while. Took about two weeks off from the gym and surprisingly lost about 5lbs. Going to start back fresh after a trip to Chicago this weekend through Wednesday. Weather is getting better so I’ll begin doing my cardio mostly outside. Hope all is well. To WONG FOO!
So I realized that the 5k I decided to do is an actual trail in the mountains. I have only been training on a treadmill for the past 9 weeks…completed C25k last week. Is it that different running on a trail? Should I cancel and continue with the 10k training program? I really am not sure….
So I haven’t updated this in about a week. I enjoy reading everyones post though! I have reached the final week. It has been a very positive 9 weeks as running has done a lot for my confidence in the gym and overall. I never thought I’d be able to run for long distances..well I just knew I was too lazy to try. Finding the C25k program has helped me keep my end goals in site and helped to keep my lazy ass motivated. I am looking forward to doing my final run outside in the sun this weekend. Then, it’s off to my FIRST EVER 5k. TOO WONG FU!
How do I reply to replies of my post? Anyone. I hover over the “arrow”/reply button..but not able to click on it. I can reply to others post on other peoples tumblr…but not to replies in my own post…does that make sense?

Well I have come to my second plateau in my weight loss journey. The first was right around the 304 mark…I couldn’t get past it for weeks. I am currently stuck in limbo at 269-271 for the past 2-3 weeks. Not getting discouraged as I have been stuck before. I will break this! TO WONG FOO.
ps - I need a smartphone so I can post pictures/etc…

When I first started the C25k program I was pretty sure that I wouldn’t follow through on it. I usually start strong but quickly loose interest/motivation. Each week I worked my way through each program and just took it day by day. I am now on W6D3(which I’ll do on Friday)…and I can’t believe I am still going. I have never had the stamina/energy to run like I do now. I am going to start focusing more on my diet and hope to continue to drop weight. I am a tall guy at 6’3 so I wear my weight well enough..but I see the improvements and want to continue to improve myself. TO WONG FOO!

I stumbled upon one of the most badass races I’ve seen. What is it you may ask? WARRIOR DASH! I’d explain it…but it’s just as easy to look at the video that begins when you visit their website at warriordash.com.
I will be participating in one of these..either the Maryland or Carolinas event!
Tunes for Tuesday
Ok…so to keep from posting boring tid bits about yours truly I have decided to post a song that is motivating me this week. Music is a huge part of my life and who I am so I figured I’d share.
This song really gets me ready to run! Throw it on near the end of the “brisk walk” and by the song is over you’re pounding pavement like it’s going out of style.
I’ve been thinking about developing a C25k Podcast in a similar manner as Carli. I have been using her podcast to guide me through the changes in the program during my workout and have been very pleased. However, I could use a change of pace musically as it’s not really up my alley. So each Tuesday I’ll post a new song/youtube of what is keeping my left and right feet moving. Feel free to share yours as I am always in search of new tunes.
Slowly but surely I am progressing through this program. So far no repeats! Week 5 looks challenging and I am actually looking forward to seeing how I handle W5D3.
I am going to start transitioning to more outside runs than treadmill runs so I can get ready for the 5k in Feb. Not much else to report. Enjoy the weekend!
